My Walmart Deals for 7/20-26

Got lots of fun stuff for my son today. Lots of school supplies on sale this week.

(1) Set of (2) Plastic Totes @ $4.44 (the one with the pink lid. Only one is pictured here but they came as a two pack)

(1) Set of (5) Plastic Totes @ $4.44 (the one with the blue lid. Only one is pictured here but they came as a set of five - these are the perfect size to fit in my closet and help me organize all the stuff I've been getting. The one in the picture is filled with all the school supplies I bought today.)

(2) Head and Shoulders Shampoo Trial Size @ $0.97 each

• Used $3/2 coupon from 7/6 PG insert (my cashier wouldn't give me the overage but I still got both for free)

(1) 7" Scissors @ $1.94

(1) Pencil Case @ $0.50

(1) Roseart Classic Markers 11 ct @ $0.60

Total (incl tax): $13.05

I ended up getting extras of some things (like crayons) because we have 2 nieces that visit often. These can also make great stocking or Easter basket stuffers down the road. You never know!

Walmart Deals

First of all, please see the posts at The "Cent"sible Sawyer and Money Saving Mom to get the lowdown on all of the deals you can get at Walmart and elsewhere. The information and deals I have listed here refer to deals listed in those original posts. This is just an update with information regarding pricing and availability in the Manchester, CT store.

• Honey Bunches of Oats (Just Bunches) is not carried in this store
• Bertolli Premium Pasta sauce is not carried in this store
• Tyson Pork Loin is not carried in this store
• Cheerios Snack Mix - this store only carries the 12 oz bag and it's priced at just over $2.00 ($2.38 maybe?)
• Live Active Cereal is not carried in this store
• Honey Bunches of Oats with Chocolate Clusters is not carried in this store
• Juicy Juice was around $2.50 on my last trip there
• Purina Cat Chow regular price is $4.18
• Purina Puppy Chow regular price was almost $5.00 ($4.96?)
• Dove Energy Glow Body Lotion Trial Size is not carried in this store
• Kotex 16 ct travel size is not carried in this store
• o.b. Tampon Trial Size is not carried in this store
• Johnson's Buddies Soap is $0.97 each
• Post It Page Markers are $0.94 each

There are probably many other differences, but these are the items I've looked for in my local Walmart so far. If there are any readers that go to this store also and have any other updates, just leave a comment and I'll update this post.

Walmart Deals for 6/29-7/5

I think I did pretty good at Walmart today! I spent $12.66 for everything you see here.

(1) 8 pocket folder (to organize my coupons and take it with me on my Tuesday shopping trips) $4.97

(1) All You magazine - $2.24 (this magazine has a ton of coupons!) The cover price is $2.49...not sure why it rang up less.

(1) Index Card Box - $1.47 (to organize my coupons)

(1) Zantac 150 Cool Mint 8 ct - $3.98 - Used (1) $5.00 off coupon found here (on page 3) making this FREE with $1.02 in overage!

(6) Post-It Page Markers - $0.97 each - Used (3) $3/2 coupons found here making them all FREE with $3.18 in overage!

(1) 2 pack of Gerber Snack bowls - $3.96 (for Ben)

(1) bag of Cheerios Snack Mix - $2.78 - used $1.00 coupon found here (on page 5) making it $1.78

(1) 20 oz Pepsi - $1.38 plus deposit (I couldn't stop Eric from getting it lol)

(1) package of 100 4" x 6" index cards - $0.87 - the guy forgot to ring these up!! I realized it when I got home. FREE

Total before coupons: $27.66 (including tax)
Total after coupons: $12.66
I saved $15.00!!
