Here's what I got this week at Walgreens:

(3) Ragu Pasta Sauce @ 3/$5.00

  • Used $1/3 coupon from 8/17 RP

(2) Skippy Superchunk Peanut Butter @ $3.34 ($1.67 ea)
  • Used $1/2 coupon from 8/17 RP

(1) Cheerios @ $1.99
  • Used $1.00 Cheerios Challenge coupon

(1) Cinnamon Toast Crunch @ $1.99
  • Used $0.55 coupon printable in my coupon bar to the left

(1) Pert Plus @ $3.79
  • Used $2.00 coupon from 8/3 SS
  • Easy Saver Rebate #7 makes this FREE plus overage!

Total Before Coupons: $16.11
Coupon total: $5.55
Total After Coupons (incl tax): $11.50

I also wanted to get the Cottonelle Deal
Cottonelle 12 packs 2/$14
Use $1/2 coupon from 7/20 SS
total 2/$12 and Earn $3 RR
But, they were all out!! They had Scott 12 packs eligible for the RR but I didn't have a coupon for those so I decided to hold off for now and go back later in the week to see if they have more.

I'm also really mad at myself. I intended to do the RR deal with the Ragu/Skippy. Buy 6, get $4 RR. I thought I had it but after we left the store I was looking at the receipt and realized I only bought 5 Skippy/Ragu products. Arrrggg!! This is one reason why I wish Walgreens did a rewards card like CVS and the grocery stores. Then you wouldn't necessarily have to buy them all in the same transaction. I'm still debating whether or not it's worth the hassle of bringing the items back and returning them and then re-buying them plus an extra. I don't know if it's worth the $4 or not...

I also had the following print with my receipt:
$1.50 off your next purchase (courtesy of Unilever) (exp 9/2)
Take an additional 20% off any purchase at Payless Shoesource (exp 9/15)

I did the same thing with Rice Krispie Squares a few weeks ago and I was so mad at myself that I went back in, returned them and bought the right amount to get the RR! I said to the manager "you must think I'm nuts", and she said nope, happens all the time!! LOL
